Your Circle Medical provider will complete a thorough, evidence-based tobacco use assessment appointment, as well as work with you to establish your goals for treatment.
This will include discussing your history of tobacco use, modes of consumption, including smoking, vaping, or smokeless tobacco.
$150 cash pay

Treatment plan
Your provider is going to be there to support you through every step of the process of quitting or reducing the use of tobacco.
They will discuss treatment options with you, which may include prescription medications that have been demonstrated to effectively help people reduce their tobacco use including Bupropion (Wellburtrin) and Varenicline (Chantix).
This can also include other treatment options such as behavioral therapy, Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT), over-the-counter nicotine patches or gums, support groups, and lifestyle changes that can help you achieve your goals.
Ongoing check-ins
As part of your treatment plan, your provider will recommend ongoing check-ins every 2-4 weeks when starting tobacco cessation therapy in order to ensure the treatment plan is working, and to make adjustments to the treatment and medication dosages if needed.
During these follow-up visits we will discuss your progress and any roadblocks you may have encountered.
Once your plan has been solidified, check-ins may occur every 3 months to ensure your ongoing success.

Tobacco use remains one of the leading preventable causes of death worldwide, contributing to various health issues such as lung cancer, heart disease, and respiratory disorders. Quitting tobacco can significantly reduce the risk of these health complications occurring. The good news is that quitting smoking can greatly reduce these risks and improve your overall well-being.
Tobacco contains nicotine, a highly addictive mental stimulant that can cause dependence, and has significant withdrawal effects. These effects can make quitting, or reducing, tobacco use very difficult.
This means that just by getting here, you have already made the first and most difficult step.

Bupropion (Wellbutrin)
Bupropion is an antidepressant that can also aid in tobacco cessation by reducing cravings and withdrawal symptoms. It works by affecting neurotransmitters in the brain, including dopamine and norepinephrine.
Varenicline (Chantix):
Varenicline is a medication specifically designed to aid in tobacco cessation by targeting nicotine receptors in the brain. It reduces the pleasurable effects of smoking and helps alleviate withdrawal symptoms.
Behavioral Therapy: Engaging in behavioral therapy sessions can provide individuals with the necessary skills and strategies to cope with cravings, identify triggers, and develop healthier habits. This may involve techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.
Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT): NRT can help manage withdrawal symptoms by providing a controlled dose of nicotine through various forms such as patches, gum, lozenges, nasal spray, or inhalers. These options can be tailored to suit individual preferences and needs.
Nicotine Gum or Patches: Alternative methods of controlled nicotine delivery can be more easily reduced over time. These and other over-the-counter methods can be integrated with treatment
Support Groups: Joining support groups or smoking cessation programs can offer valuable peer support, encouragement, and accountability. These groups provide a safe space for individuals to share their experiences, challenges, and successes with others who are also on the journey to quit smoking.
Lifestyle Changes: Lifestyle modifications such as regular exercise, stress management techniques, and adopting a healthy diet can complement other cessation strategies and improve overall well-being.

Virtual appointments allow our patients to see their providers in the comfort of their own homes. Our providers are also able to offer more flexible hours beyond what in-person doctor’s offices provide.
If any in-person care is needed, such as bloodwork, vaccinations, or other testing, our providers are able to send the appropriate request to one of our 4,000+ partner lab locations that is convenient for you. Results will be integrated with our HIPAA-compliant mobile app so that patients have access to all of their medical records in one secure place.
For those with insurance, cost will depend on the specific type of care you receive and the coverage of your insurance plan. We provide a cost estimate based on each patient’s insurance plan when they book an appointment.
For those without insurance, we provide the self-pay costs of each appointment when a patient is booking their appointment.

You must be currently residing in the state of treatment as well as have your primary pharmacy be in that same state in order to be a patient at our practice.
The first intake appointment is 30 minutes. Follow-up appointments are 20 minutes each.
Billing
We provide a cost estimate when you are booking your appointment. For those with insurance, your actual cost is determined after we submit the insurance claim for your appointment. Once we submit the claim, insurance companies will pay for a portion of the appointment and pass on any remaining cost to you. Once we know what this cost is, we will update you with an invoice within the app.
For those with insurance, it typically takes 1-3 weeks for the insurance claim to be processed. Once processed, we’ll send you an invoice within the app with any remaining costs. You can then opt to pay through the app, or we will automatically charge the payment card on file after 48 hours of sending you the invoice.
For those without insurance (or with out of network insurance), we will send you the invoice 1-2 days after your appointment is completed. You can then opt to pay through the app, or we will automatically charge the payment card on file after 48 hours of sending you the invoice.
Insurance
We accept over 1,500+ insurance plans. We cover most of the major PPO insurance companies (payors) across the United States. The best way to confirm coverage of your insurance plan is to begin booking an appointment on our website or via our mobile app. During the booking process, you’ll be prompted to enter your insurance information for a real-time verification of your insurance plan.
The best way to confirm your insurance plan coverage is to call the Member Services phone number on the back of your insurance card. If needed, you can reference our Tax ID#: 474883537 and our NPI: 1134596091. Once you are able to confirm your coverage and your primary care copay costs, you can use the in-app chat to message our team with the information. We’ll then follow up with confirmation.
Your per-appointment costs are set by your insurance plan. If the costs seem high, you may be on a high deductible health plan (HDHP). This means that you have an annual out-of-pocket amount that you must pay on healthcare in a given year before your insurance plan will cover more of your per-appointment costs.
If you are on an HDHP and have confirmed your insurance information in our mobile app, your remaining deductible for the year will be displayed on the “Book Appointment” page. Note that this amount may be outdated if you have had recent insurance claims processed.

Phenomenal — I am a person who is cautious of doctors appointments due to being treated poorly by providers in the past. My provider at Circle Medical was very professional, very sensitive and addressed my concerns.

Has been wonderful! My provider makes each appt feel so comfortable. I'm able to talk about anything, express concerns, and fill her in on my progress without worry of judgement.
